Roadmap of the Turkic World Insurance Union Developed
The Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA) has developed the Roadmap of the Turkic World Insurance Union (TWIU).
The Roadmap defines the Union’s strategic objectives and key principles of operation.
In addition to the strategic objectives and operating principles of TWIU, the document outlines key areas of mutual cooperation among the member countries, matters related to the organization of the Union’s annual assemblies, as well as other important areas of activity.
According to the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, an online meeting of the heads of the insurance associations of TWIU member countries will be held in October, during which the proposed Roadmap will be discussed. The meeting is also expected to determine the date and host country of the Union’s first Annual Assembly.
The Turkic World Insurance Union was established on 24 May 2022 in Istanbul, Türkiye, with the participation of the insurance associations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
